Why did you start using the product?
I am in my 50s and suffer from an auto-immune illness, a form of Alopecia which means that when I lose a hair the follicle closes up.
As a woman, losing my hair (my hairline has receded at least a couple of inches) and eyebrows left me feeling quite devastated. I was particularly concerned about hair loss on my face. I have never had long or thick eyelashes and my eyebrows were my main concern and so I had my eyebrows tattooed. Although I did get a very good job done (it looked a quite realistic brow) I still didn’t like looking in the mirror and seeing the tattoo. I ended up not getting them redone and so they just got lighter and faded.
When did you start using the product?
In November 2015 I started to use both the Kiy-oshi eyebrow and eyelash serum.
How did you find using it and have you had any problems?
At first I wasn’t sure how to apply it (a video and some more instructions would’ve helped) and I didn’t use it every day. Once I started to see results I began to use both serums almost everyday (I do forget occasionally but it’s become part of my routine as I apply both serums last thing at night)
When did you first start to see results?
After about 4 weeks I started to see results. I was delighted that my eyebrows had actually started to grow and I could see hairs.
Then about 8 weeks after starting to use the serums my eyelashes were longer and thicker and, more importantly for me, my eyebrows were full again.
How long does a tube last?
A tube of each serum has lasted me about 4 months.
Do you have any criticisms?
My only minor criticisms are:
- the packaging. I have found that the writing tends to rub off the silver tube although it’s more of an inconvenience than anything else.
- the applicator brush for the eyebrows which I feel would perhaps benefit from being thicker.
Would you recommend the product?
I wholeheartedly do recommend this product – it’s made such a difference to me. When I started to lose my hair I lost confidence. Although I still have to cope with hair loss on my head it really has been a boost to have eyebrows again. Now that I have eyebrows it somehow helps me cope with my hair loss on my head.
What about the price?
I think that the price of the serums is very acceptable. For me though, the value is priceless because it really does what it says.
I have used a particular Clinique mascara for some time because it is easy to just wash off. However, last year I found that as I got to the end of the product it was clogging and was pulling out some of my eyelashes.
When I heard about Kiy-oshi’s eyelash serum I must admit that I didn’t really expect it to work.
I was a bit unsure about how to apply it at first and I think a video showing you about application would be really helpful. However I soon got into the swing of it and it’s become a normal part of my night-timeroutine- I use it at the same time as I brush my teeth.
I first started to use it in October 2015 and within a couple of weeks I really noticed a difference. My eyelashes were visibly fuller, longer and much stronger.
I have always worn make-up but since using the product I feel really confident about going without mascara at the weekends.
BetweenOctober 2015 and April 2016 I have used almost 2 full tubes (I’m just finishing my second.
I would definitely recommend this product. I think the price is about right – if it was too cheap I wouldn’t use it because I wouldn’t use a cheap product near my eyes.
I have been really impressed with this product and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I am just sorry that I didn’t get the chance to use it before.
It’s such a great product and does what it says it will. I have even wondered if this could be used for hair growth generally.
I have Asian skin so I have no need of the eyebrow serum.
